Job Description
- • To lead a team of Engineering Assistants, Technicians and Inspectors on daily and weekly OQC Operations
• Overall In-Charge of Lot dispositions- Ensure Lot Inspected meet Customer requirements and timely release for shipment
• To observe and trigger to Production on abnormal trends in all critical process parameters and feedback on other monitoring items
• To trigger product NCMR and manage the affected media disposition
• To collaborate with IPQA and Process Engineer on suitable improvement activity to prevent similar trouble.
• To identify area of quality concerns and establish appropriate procedure or system to prevent or for improvement purpose. (in project basis)
• Work with Quality Engineers & Production Line Engineers/ Process Owners in resolving Quality related matters & customer complaints
• Attend Daily Production meeting to Highlight Line performance abnormalities.
• Review & analyze Customer’s HDD performance to alert internal team for key issues.
• Perform data traceability & trend analysis pertaining to Customer failure or internal quality concerns
• To assist Project Management team to monitor and feedback on Customer concerned item timely
• To manage and upkeep the ISO standard of OQC department.
• To assist Manager in analyzing the quality issues & initiate projects / plans to resolve issues
• To control cost expenditure within own section
• To exercise safety and disciplinary control within own section.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management or equivalent experience
Proficient in MS Office applications, QA Analysis Tools - Statistical Process Charts & Minitab or similar statistical analysis software
Skilled in statistical concepts including probability distributions, hypothesis testing and capability analysis
